Management Committee

 

 

James Baird became Head of Chambers in October 2010 following the departure of Peter Kelson QC, who left to take up a full time position as a Circuit Judge. As Head of Chambers, Jim is responsible for the overall leadership and management of chambers.

 

To assist in the management of chambers, there is a specially elected committee who meet monthly to consider all the issues concerning the administration of chambers, implementation of policies and procedures, recruitment requirements, complaints and financial matters.

 

The Management Committee comprises the Head of Chambers, Senior Clerk and 4 other barristers, each representing our core practice groups, and a barrister less than 5 years call.
