Practice Summary
Kate Morley specialises in all aspects of family law, and regularly receives instructions in care proceedings on behalf of local authorities and parents, often where the case involves allegations of emotional and physical abuse, chronic neglect and serious sexual abuse.
Kate also acts on behalf of applicants and respondents in contact and residence disputes, domestic violence allegations, and jurisdiction hearings.
Kate also accepts instructions in general financial relief matters.
Seminars
Kate is able to provide CPD accredited talks, and most recently has held seminars on the Family Procedure Rules 2010. Kate is a volunteer for the Lincoln's Inn 'Speakers for Schools Team', and regularly gives talks to students in schools and colleges about career options and becoming a barrister.

Kate graduated from the University of Sheffield in 2005 and completed the Bar Vocational Course at Manchester Metropolitan University in 2006. She was called to the Bar in 2006 and specialises in all aspects of family law, acting for lay clients and Local Authorities in public and private law cases.
Kate was formerly a tenant at 18 St John Street Chambers, Manchester and joined Bank House in 2010.
