Bank House Chambers has one of the largest criminal law teams of any chambers of the North Eastern Circuit, enabling our clients to access a broad choice of specialist counsel at all levels of seniority.
We have a proven track record for expertise in criminal law with a number of members recommended in the Legal500 and Chambers and Partners' UK Guide to the Legal Profession.
Our barristers are involved from the earliest stage of the proceedings through to the conclusion of a case. Members are regularly instructed to appear in the Crown and Magistrates courts across the North Eastern and Midlands circuits as well as the Court of Appeal. Our client base includes well known criminal solicitors and law firms in these regions. Additionally, our barristers are regularly instructed by prosecution authorities, such as the CPS, HMRC, DWP and Police Legal Services.
Chambers has an unusually high number of specialist criminal Silks who are particularly suitable for complex, serious and lengthly cases. The more junior members of the team benefit from access to their considerable experience and guidance.
